So it seems that the reason i can’t get on some websites is due to the fact that my OS and / or browser are out of date, in fact so out of date that I can’t even upgrade my OS. I’ve tried to upgrade to High Sierra via Apple’s website, but this hasn’t worked – I get a message saying that ‘This update requires macOS version 10.8 or later’. 10.7.5 free download - Windows 10, Apple Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5. In the case of one website, I get an onscreen message stating that I need to upgrade my browser before I can access the site. The Safari browser comes pre-installed with macOS and its a browser many people. Typically I’ll get an onscreen message saying ‘Safari can’t open the page (name of website) because Safari can’t establish a secure connection to the server'. More and more I’m finding that I’m no longer able to access various websites.
